Terms of use

RangeMind is a tool for long-range shooters: a ballistic calculator, a shot logger with truing, profiles for rifles and ammunition, a bullet library and other tools. It is currently provided free of charge.

Give accurate information, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what is done with your account.

We may suspend an account that is used to harm the service or other users.

Firing solutions, tables, truing and other results are calculated from models and from the data you enter. They are estimates and can be wrong. Always confirm them with real shots at the range before relying on them.

The reloading calculator gives rough indications only. It cannot tell you that a load is safe. Only use charges from current published load data for your exact components, start at the published minimum, work up carefully and never exceed the published maximum. You alone are responsible for the ammunition you load.

You are responsible for handling firearms and ammunition safely, and for complying with the laws of your country and the rules of the ranges where you shoot.

The data you add (profiles, shot logs, feedback…) remains yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide the service to you. You can delete it at any time.

We work to keep RangeMind available and correct, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available, error-free or unchanged. We may change or stop features.

RangeMind is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of the results, including missed shots, damage to equipment or injury, in particular from ammunition you load.

You can stop using RangeMind and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete my account.

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; for significant changes we will let you know by email or in the app.
